Aether??

Part 2 What is that: “Luminiferous Aether”?

Well, that so called “Higgs – field”. ! Rightly! Energy depends always on a medium in order to be transmitted! –- In any case! (being within an atom, or even being within a wire as it is the case with our electricity). To be transmitted through space it can be only in form of waves within a “medium”. So do all electromagnetic forces – they are always some form of transported “energy”, as for example light, radio waves, roentgen etc. Even Electrons! Even “Gravitation”.

Energy as such can not be “thrown”, not even in “quants” (see theory of quants by Heisenberg),. At best I could imagine some energy – quants being “in touch” together within the nucleus of an atom. But at slightly longer distances - even within the structure of a molecule for example - it has to be a wave in order to fulfil its duty; namely “holding together” our world!

But as said: “waves” need always a “medium” on which to travel! (Even if science now tries to suggest otherwise).

Such a medium, therefore, had to be:

All overall existent, also in the “void”, and in the whole space as well as within any “matter”!

Non compressible – like water - in order to be able transmitting energy (or waves) without too much loss.

Our formers realized that, when they detected the nature of “electromagnetic waves”. And they called that medium “Luminiferous Aether”.

Electromagnetic waves exist in millions of frequencies or “wavelengths”, forces and amplitudes, therefore with different qualities and peculiarities, which express themselves in very different ways! Sometimes even as “particles”. Light–waves are waves at a range of 770  to 300 Nanometre in order to be seen by our eyes. Other wavelengths are used for radio, radar, etc. etc. Some we do not even recognize… Or they form “Strings” as with the “Higgs” Theory. (But they all need “energy” to move!)

All those electromagnetic rays travel at about 300000 km/sec. (exactly ca. 299792,4 km/s in vacuum.) The so called “Light – speed”. It is always the same speed in every direction, and Einstein based his famous formula “e=mc2” on it. Nothing can surpass this speed. Objects travelling near this speed would gain weight up to infinite and lose “dimension”, and also loose their “sense of time”, reaching it. - Which is naturally impossible. 

Scientists negated this so called “Aether” for a long time. They do it still up to day! It could not be “proved”. Only now - and very ashamedly – a similar idea knocked at the back door with the name of “Higgs – field”. Because – as said - energy must at all means be transported, even within the smallest subatomic particles!

How was it proved that this “Aether” did not exist, then?

The surface of the Earth, measured at the equator, rotates with nearly 1700 km/h.

It travels around the sun on its orbit with about 107000 km/h

Our whole Galaxy rotates once in about 2.26 Milliards of years. As our sun - system is about 30 Light-years off from its centre, it results in a tangential speed of about 900000 km/h.

(Not considered, how fast our Galaxy, the “Milky way” itself travels. That we can only estimate! Some Galaxies reach almost light speed, it seems!)

Summed up, for a certain point of the earth’s surface, the resultant speed reaches sometimes already about 1/10000^th of Light-speed! At last!

So, in the 19th century, two scientists named Michelson and Morley, measured the light speed on the earth at different directions (Michelson Morley Experiment 1887). They thought, that – as the earth travels through this postulated “aether - wind” at such considerable speed, the light – speed in direction of the travelling - path of the orbit should slightly differ from that of the other sides. (They were already able to measure that with considerable exactitude, and later – in the 20^th century - other scientist proved those measurements being very exact.)

But they found out, that the light speed in all directions was always the same. So they estimated this “aether” as not existent. And not “needed”. And even Einstein “proved” mathematically, that it did not exist, then. (Mathematically he was right, tough!)

It is difficult, to see one`s own eyes!

These scientists did not realize, that - as the particles of our atoms are also due to “waves” of energy - this “Aether” - newly called “Higgs field” - travels within the earth! Within all the particles and sub – particles of its atoms and molecules. All “matter” is “impregnated” by it. And: it “travels” even with and within our whole Galaxy!

So what could that medium be?

In fact there is such an all-omni present medium, it is the “time”!! It impregnates our whole world, it is present in our galaxy as well as in space, and even within the so called “void”. And it is not compressible! (Nobody ever heard of time being compressed.!) And it “travels” with us and our whole galaxy. (If it moves the same way with other universes, “one” does not know – yet.) And – last but not least - it requires energy by itself!

Stephen Hawking wrote, that the “time” is an inseparable part of matter, matter can only exist with “time”, and since Einstein we consider also our “world” being part of a “space – time – continuum”.

And, as this “time” works alike as this formerly postulated “Aether” and thus travels with our world and our universe, and as “time” determines also the “light speed”, there would in no direction have been seen any difference of the light - speed. Not within “our” universe at last.

We must free ourselves from the “not imaginativeness” of the “time”. Time as such is “something”!! It has a structure, it is not only a dimension but determines dimensions for itself, and I suspect it to be even not invariable! In my opinion, this “time” has not even all overall the same direction but in our world! Nevertheless, it “exists”! No doubt!
